Colin was on holiday in Venezuela at Margarita Islands on a cruise when he tragically was taken from us on January 29th 2009.
Colin was full of life, with a smile that would fill a room with light; he touched the heart of thousands of people that had the pleasure of knowing him or being a good fiend.
Colin loved to travel, he was always going someplace weather it was just up the mountains for an explore or overseas. . .
Colin you touched the hearts of everybody that knew you and we are so privileged to have known you for the years we did, you inspired and comforted everyone around you ... Family, Friends and even just people that you had spoken to and known for a short time...

On Saturday 30th May 2009 there will me a memorial climb to Ben Lomond as a tribute to Colin and to raise funds for a bench that will be placed by Loch Lomond on the Secret History Trail as a lasting memorial to Colin in a place he loved so much. He travelled to and seen so many exotic locations in the world but Loch Lomond was his favourite spot and he loved to climb Ben Lomond and overlook the scenery. There will be approximately 150 attending this event.

and mourn when he is dead.
It may be six or seven
years, or twenty-two or three, but will you
till I call him back,
take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you
and shall his stay be brief,
you'll have his lovely memories

I cannot promise he will stay,
as all from earth return
but there are lessons taught down there
that I want this child to learn.
I've looked the wide world over
in my search for teachers true,
and from the throngs that crown life's lanes,
I have selected YOU.

-not think the labor vain
nor hate me when I come to call
to take him back again."
I fancied that I heard them say
"Dear Lord, Thy will be done.
For all the joys thy child will bring
The risk of grief we'll run.
We will shelter him with tenderness,
We'll love him while we may---
And for the happiness we've known
Forever grateful stay.
But should the angels call for him
Much sooner than we've planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes

Starts Without Me
When tomorrow starts without me,
and I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry,
the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things,
we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,

and maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized,
that this could never be,
for emptiness and memories,
would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
my heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
from His great golden throne,
He said, "This is eternity,
and all I've promised you".
Today for life on earth is past,
but here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
but today will always last,
and since each day's the same day,
there's no longing for the past.
But you have been so faithful,
so trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things,
you knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven
and now at last you're free.
So won't you take my hand
and share my life with me?
So when tomorrow starts without me,
don't think we're far apart,
for every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.
Happy 25th birthday my darling son.
Life has changed so much and I miss you more every day!
Today we will let off 25 lanters and sing happy birthday to you, al your friends and family will bring a bauble to decorate your tree.
